Does a Dream Vacation Seem Impossible?

The Ultimate Wanderlust Guide

Does a dream vacation seem impossible? There are so many things to consider, aren’t there?  I remember planning my first trip overseas. It took several YEARS to do the research. It was before the age of the internet or even Facebook. I was captivated by travel shows and guide books. Finally, in 1995 my husband and I set out for 2 weeks in the UK.  That trip changed my life forever. A trip I thought was going to be a “once-in-a-lifetime” adventure turned out to be the very event that changed the course for our family.

Don’t Put Your Dream Vacation On Hold.

Getting started with planning that “once-in-a-lifetime” trip is a daunting venture. There are so many questions to answer and what feels like a zillion details to finalize. Will it really be worth all the money, effort and stress? Even with the internet & Facebook communities, there can be so much overwhelming.

  1. I can agree with you that it doesn’t have to be once in a lifetime idea. But often for those having never traveled overseas, it seems so out of reach they might think it is only going to happen once. My hope is that others will begin thinking like you and realize that with a bit of dreaming, a good plan and the motivation to go, they will make their travel dreams come true!

  2. I definitely don’t think of any trip as “once in a lifetime.” Maybe this is because I grew up doing some traveling with my family, but I figure if somewhere is really that awesome, you’ll find a way to go again 😉
